Equine Science Exam Questions

Below are the questions and answers from Chris Knox:

Attached are the equine science exams I wrote along with the answer keys.  There were a couple of questions referring to a drawing of a horse which I left blank. The kids can find their own chart and find the answers.

I am also attaching an article I wrote some time ago for B candidates on nutrition in case you can use it also.

Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.

Free POA mare great for pony club

Free POA mare great for pony clubPlease forward so this will go to the dc’s and they can forward to the members.  This is my niece’s horse and she is leaving for college and left the horse with my elderly mother who doesn’t feel able to care for a horse.

Free 16 year old registered POA with PHC 55 7/8″ (14 hands), red roan.  She has been ridden by kids age 8 and up and  a D2/D3 level.  jumped up to 2′6″ in arena and cross country. not spooky, not to forward or to lazy, would be great at pony club, jumping and  games (not hot).  ridden on trails a lot, through water, bridges…..  435-724-1950 or sallybrown21@hotmail.com is currently in Lehi Utah

Thanks from Jo

Dear Members, Sponsors, and Parents,
Thank you so much for the wonderful gift basket I received at the annual meeting on October 17.
I have the pony club blanket on my chair by our woodstove and have enjoyed it every night this week.  Katie is very jealous and wants one too!
Also, the Heifer International gift of a milk goat to a needy family somewhere in the world.  The goat will help some family lift themselves out of poverty.  I so appreciate the donation to my favorite charity.
The extras, yes there were more gifts, of wine glasses etched with Cody Clements’ own quotes, special wine from Holly called Fourteen Hands and Firesteed and special coffee mugs from Roberta with organic shade grown coffee, and the basket and card that was signed by so many of you.
I have been blessed by all of your friendships.  The wonderful pony clubbers and their ponies, all of those rallies, ratings, and club meetings will be cherished memories for me always.
I leave the region in good hands with Holly.
Blessings to you all!
Love, Jo

Grace

I have this awesome mare for sale, I am returning to college at WSU in the next 2 weeks and will be bringing her with me to keep her going. I would love to have her go to a pony club home. I will take any reasonable offer as I need to get funding to finish my education or I would not be selling her.

Grace is not for a beginner rider but would make an excellent partner for a jumper she has her stadium and cross country down, her flat is where she is weak. ( as she loves to jump). She will be boarded in Pullman, Wa.

Thankyou

Breanna
